I was on another American airlines flight at Reagan, on the tarmac, we had just began to taxi, when the flight attendant got a call (we were 1st class) and her face went white, she said "what?!", among other things, then we immediately halted taxing, and were confused along with her for about 10 minutes, till the captain said an "incident had occured" and we would be going back to the gate.
Lots of cops, every federal agency letter under the sun, the airport was a mess. I'm in a hotel now, but there's still cops heading to the scene hours later (Visible from the hotel room, thanks boss btw for getting us accomodations so fast)
I hope everyone ends up being okay, even if that's just wishful thinking.
This is just an inconvenience to me while on a day trip, but to the families of those involved, and to the people involved in the crash, it's horrifying. I hope for the best when I wake up.

I really wish Mastodon would have the site admin contacts as something static, so that when archive.org crawls a server/instance, and an admin needs to find the person to contact about an issue, they can find them.
In this case, the Mini Meadow instance is tossing 500 errors but is also spamming download requests to my instance, so I wanted to reach out... but, I can't. Kinda annoying actually- because the admin likely hasn't gotten downtime alerts since the site is still technically "up"
It's all scripts that pull the data in, which all 404 or error out since the site is down.

@LARSNEVERDIES welp. I tried. Mastodon doesn't like me importing the posts back in manually, and started throwing errors when I tried to associate it back the original account id, and a new id. If anyone has knowledge on how to get it to work successfully, please let me know^
