Tried out Image Playground on macOS today and I was surprised at how bad it felt.

Not just that the generated images were poor but also that the UI feels half-baked.

As an example, the app is full of a bunch of baubles that just invite you to drag them around but you just can’t. They’re all firmly stuck in place, never to be moved.

Zero whimsy to be found.
