Are there examples of the minus glyph in use? As in U+2212 and not a repurposed hyphen or other dash? It’s included in many fonts, but I can barely find it in use. For example, both the Weather and Calculator apps on iOS use hyphens for negative numbers.

In case you never saw one: −512 vs. -512 or –512 (minus vs. hyphen or en dash). Proportionally, minus is a plus without the vertical line, so: nice in tabular layout and more prominent than a hyphen.

Apparently everyone else has nice clear skies, taking pictures of northern lights and comets. It’s just clouds here, so I might as well post my favorite cloud picture from yesterday: #photography #planespotting #clouds
