Happy Photography Friday friends.

A few months back I had the pleasure of working with a phenomenal, world renowned Filipino dancer, Ricardo Magno. He tasked me with creating a hero image for his Fringe Festival show and also shoot a creative head shot.

These caterpillar (not sure what they're called?) are infesting my waxflower all of a sudden. I live on the 2nd floor, where do they even come from! I had to pick them all off by hand as this is a beloved plant from my departed ma. This was not an easy task as my schizophrenia is insect/bug related - I now have the heeby jeebies. 🤢

Went hiking along "goat" trails yesterday, out near Piggoreet, and got attacked by a tree after successfully manoeuvring through brambles. Ouch.

I was given a grant this year and part of it was working with a world renowned marketing company to rejig my look. As a result, here's my new business card and flyer.

It's men's health month and also Trans Awareness Week.

This year I turn 15 T years. I mark this by when I had chest surgery.

This year (not month or week) I want you to find a trans man & (with consent) hug him.

I want you to support a trans activist, a trans artist, a trans lover, a trans musician, a trans fighter.

Trans humans need you now more than ever. Find out what we need. Listen to us. Research on your own.

We need your love and your rage. We need your support. We need your actions. Now.

It's not all roses working as an independent artist. Got told today by a client that they didn't like my event photography. First ever negative feedback of my work. Bit gutted by the email & the fact that I have to work all night tonight to redo them for deadline.

Hello brains trust.

Can you please help me save my Blood Lily (haemanthus coccineus).

Since the storms hit in Naarm it has been quickly losing its spark. I left it in a West-facing sunny spot for a while, to no avail.

It used to live in Tarntanya, but I brought it home after my ma passed.

Is Naarm too cold for it?

My Geraldton Waxflower is also shedding - a lot - I'm wondering from the cold?

I water both every 14 days.
