In news entirely unrelated to my previous toot, from the development -threatened woodland comes the sound of a woodpecker.

I sounds like it's getting breakfast, or maybe claps hands together excitedly and gasps nesting?

Presumably, what with the trunk being fairly solid and the skull being so airy, a good deal of the noise of a woodpecker must be the echoes in its own head?

A bit like the average mastodon post now I think about it.

My family think I'm weird for saying this, so I'm sharing it with you as well.

I just think it would be brilliant if after Lisa's Big Announcement, every single person present stood up, one by one, and said "I'm an ordained priest as well, and so I am completely trustworthy and faithful"

This is why I wouldn't last five minutes on the show. I'm too irreverent.

Andrew Ridgeley replied "a pension" which is probably the true answer. The children's accommodation costs at uni are going to come close. My friend Mike once joked that he was counting on having thick kids.

1. Felt physically rubbish but a bike ride put everything right, which is both heartening, and slightly frustrating that I was apparently suffering withdrawal.

2. Chickpea & coconut curry in the slow cooker was a success!

3. Started to get gift ideas for birthdays, refreshing the ideas list!

The elaborate chocolador was sick this morning. Thankfully she'd digested her dinner, so it sounded a lot worse than it was.

She keeps making occasional YAAAARK noises so I've set an arbitrary hour delay between the last yark and breakfast.

She's clearly feeling a lot better now. She doesn't know what to do with herself, or how to express any more clearly that she is now starving, and that there seems to have been some oversight from the food service team.
