Today I discovered another desktop application for #meshtastic ... gtk-meshtastic-client developed by @kop316, seems to be a decent client with everything you would expect including connectivity for serial, network, and bluetooth, and also a nice map view. 📡

maybe not very practical but still cool to see #pidgin with the #meshtastic plugin running on a #pocketchip 🤓

Progress update on my #meshtastic plugin for #pidgin. The basic configuration screens are implemented and works well for both local and remote nodes. Next will be to complete the module configuration screens. ... almost ready for GitHub. 🚀

Some progress on the #Meshtastic plugin for #Pidgin IM / libpurple. Still a lot to do but slowly getting there. The node is connected directly to the serial port / USB. I will also implement TCP but no plans for BLE.
