One can infer that workers who take such jobs are from the less privileged communities who get exploited over an over.

And as usual the tech workers at the offices are always isolated from (or wilfully ignorant of) the reality behind the data they crunch or the processes they optimize.

A software engineer told me the company she works at discourages using #GenAI (or almost forbid it) in the product to avoid any legal issues and because there's no use case.
