I'm sorry that Bambu is locking down their products. I wanted to like them.

I bought my Creality K1 16 months ago after they opened the system. It just worked out of the box.

Got root and updated my software so that I print over the network via mainsail. Added some cool plugins. No cloud.

Even happier they announced a <$100 upgrade at CES that adds support for their CFS multi filament system to a 2 yr old printer.

They're not perfect, but parts are inexpensive and hackable.

I recently returned something to Amazon, but they said they hadn't received it. No problem I had a clear photo of the receipt from UPS.

I used my Pixel to circle the tracking number and it convert it to text. The problem is that the number started with 1ZF2C24 and google wrote it as 12F2024

This is a problem with LLMs. It is more likely that a 1 will be followed by a 2, than a Z or a 2 to be followed by a 0 than a C. #llm
