Does anyone know how to find the evacuation zone for an arbitrary LA County address? Some friends live near the current Palisades fire warning perimeter, but don't know their zone ID (and, alarmingly, it's proving hard for me to find for them). cc @ai6yr

Honest question, here: why does Trump care about Greenland at all?

My assumption is that it’s some grievance-fueled obsession (did Denmark insult him in the 80s or something??), or more flood-the-zone distraction, or maybe just “I want that huge place on the map”.

But… Greenland? It seems so weird.

After reading about the DeFlock project on @404mediaco , I’ve been keeping an eye out for license plate readers while out in San Francisco. Here are a couple on Arguello: at Fulton looking North, and at California looking South. I’ll add these the DB once I re-learn how to do OSM submissions!
