Interesting approach.. the departing ambassador calls for Irish President not to attend Holocaust memorial event in Ireland.

Says fact people are now talking about him attending is a reason he should not attend. He is still going

Is it just me who thinks this is not 750 jobs? There are 500 construction jobs, which disappear when finished and an alleged 250 roles once competed.

So I know this is not engineering or anything, but I am ridiculously proud of myself for managing to replace the broken indicator lens on my C70. Didn't even graze hand or break anything in the process!

Well there haven't been any cyber riots, I am not sure the description of the Internet today as "mostly open" is accurate.

Something for #WeirdCarMastodon folks!

Enjoy the colours of (what I believe is) the VW factory parking lot in the mid to late seventies.

So what would you save from those lot?

My first attempt at Sashiko; the Japanese approach to visible mending.

Not sure this works in that style. Concerned that the colour contrast is too low so'it just looks like a bad repair. Also my darning isn't great, it is my first time hopefully next time will be tidier!

While this is quite an interesting article on differing visions of how #Autonomous vehicles might be marketed. It fails to consider if they can be made to work satisfactorily in complex environments.

The countryside is full of noisy smelly things like slurry ponds and huge milking facilities but grid scale batteries are the problem...

Once construction is finished exactly how intrusive will these sites be?

This is not true, Councils maybe be forced to doll out planning permission but they don't have the funds to build them so in the end it will depend on what construct companies do.
