Last night I got the radio to briefly draw some current. A faint hiss from the speaker when at max volume and I think I just caught a whistle as it tuned though a carrier, but then nothing.

It was back to zero current this morning.

Whisper cpp on an M4 mac absolutely flies when transcribing a good audio recording. 6 seconds to transcribe a 15 minute audio recording, with minimal errors.

Struggling to make more than 200kV in the lab today. Bits of stuff keep ionising in the xray tube and wrecking the vacuum, so the EHT supply backs off.

It'll get there in the end, it's just taking ages as none of this kit has been up above 160kV for months.

I don't really want to host at home, or on my VPS I use for other things. Mastohost seem like a good deal, but has anyone any actual experience of them?
