The American Chemical Society was an early member of ORCID and now has five integrations—four custom and one built on the ScholarOne Manuscript Submission System.
Their integration has helped ACS contribute more than 1.5 million items of data to the ORCID Registry, making ACS one of the top contributors of trusted data to ORCID records.
Our interview with ACS is now on the ORCID blog: https://info.orcid.org/american-chemical-society-a-top-orcid-data-contributor-with-scholarone-integration/

We recently assessed ORCID against the Principles for Open Scholarly Infrastructure (POSI). Though we are not yet ready to unequivocally adopt the POSI Principles, we acknowledge the importance of the initiative and we're eager to engage with the group of current POSI adopters and the broader scholarly infrastructure community to further evolve POSI in an open, transparent way.

This blog by ROR (Research Organization Registry) explores the difference between "core facilities" in RRIDs (Research Resource Identifiers) and "facilities" in ROR and provides guidance for those who run facilities on how to effectively use these identifiers.
"ORCID records also accept RRIDs, enabling data to be harvested from or sent to an individual researcher's ORCID profile, which means that analysts can examine ORCID data for RRIDs."
