The pregame show we can't live without ...

While discussing tonight's rematch with the Cavs, all four TNT hosts mentioned how much the Pacers have improved lately (12-3 in the last 15 games). Yet, they all failed to note the injuries that contributed to the 10-15 start. I know I've said it before, but Indiana was so hobbled that Quenton Jackson started six straight games at the darkest point of the season.

Yes'cers!!!

Indiana announced at halftime that Tyrese Haliburton wouldn't play any more with a hamstring injury. Even so, the Pacers outscore the Cavs 68-40 in the 2nd half for a HUGE win in Cleveland. Season low point total for the Cavs, too.

Pacers have now won six in a row (all by at least 10), 12 of their last 15, and are the only unbeaten team in the East in January.

In the last dream I had before waking up this morning, I was at a Scorpions show. It was at an inmate club, and I was in the front row.

The show starts, and I wonder if, given the ages of the band members, if they're using backing tracks. As soon as Klaus Meine Starts singing "Rock You Like A Hurricane," it's apparent they are, and before they get to the chorus he has a Milli Vanillin moment, just stops pretending, and the show was over in less than a minute.

Really, really disappointed with Cheryl Reeve (and everybody in the media) whining about the referees in last night's WNBA game. Most everything I read this morning opined that the WNBA needs better officials. Really? Pretty sure Reeve ran into Maj Forsberg at some point in Paris this summer, considering Forsberg has worked the last two Olympics (and multiple NCAA Final Fours). But apparently her CV isn't good enough for Game Five.
