I'm very pleased to announce what some of us have been doing this Summer at IBM: a 3D-printed model of the

[#]IBM #Quantum System Two, with a built-in #RaspberryPi running #qiskit quantum software (including simulator).

You can actually write and run Quantum programs on it! How cool is that?

My good friend Jeroen van de Waal has written a book about how we can together "save the oceans" (very very loosely paraphrased!).

Ooof - this needed some head scratching - one of my apps (which uses timetable data) was an hour off for all of yesterday, but was magically fine today.

Turns out, I was using midnight of "today" as the reference.

Of course, the clocks didn't go back until 2am, so at midnight it was, in fact, still BST, so all the departures were an hour off.

It took an extra long time in the shower to figure that one out!

Exciting news today for those of us who get excited about such things - NIST has published their Post-Quantum Cryptography standards today.

Very proud of IBM's involvement with this enormous mission to make the world "Quantum Safe".
