Going through #beancount's documentation and being overwhelmed when it's supposed to be the "easier" of the #plaintextaccounting tools (compared to #ledger) makes me feel a lot of trepidation for trying to set this up.

Almost all the documentation for these tools seems to assume you already have a file set up with your accounts information to some degree.

Did #Fosstodon remove the community rule that required public posts be in english?

I just did a cursory glance because I was thinking of moving to an instance that I could post bilingually but it looks like I might not need to...

Good article, I'm definitely more on the side of (eventually) including #atprotocol PDSs or relays in the wider concept of the #Fediverse

At minimum I really hope #ActivityPub devs learn from the atproto approach to Moderation as it seems miles ahead of the mastodon etc. approach to it

Both kids sick and I can feel myself coming down with the same thing.

Bedtime routine was a nightmare of everyone not wanting to go to bed and being so tired they keep crying (myself included)
