It's been a week.

1. Good "pleased to inform you" email

2. Went to a flea market, got 2 pairs of converse shoes for like 12? EUR total

3. Discovered what I think is the best Thai place in town. I'm fairly good with spicy food but this was next level 😅 (mind you I ordered pad thai, but mostly ended up eating the "medium spicy" dish my husband got)

1 waking up early to get some writing done before meetings start

2 It's been almost 4 years now but every day I appreciate so much being able to get to the office in 20 minutes. Feels deserved after 4 years of a long and uncertain commute

3 stir fried green beans with lemon and garlic

PS not a great thing my new phone doesn't allow me to use a proper keyboard where you have things like punctuation easily accessible 😆

Perhaps the most annoying UX / setting issue is that despite installing the same keyboard app I cannot get the keyboard to look the same (my Android one shows punctuation on the letters which I use extensively but there doesn't seem to be a way to replicate this on the iPhone

My beloved Sony #Xperia XZ2 mini is dying and is no longer supported. As most current day phones don't fit into my hands or pockets (yes I do have pockets) my best alternative was to get a refurbished #iPhone 13 mini and hope for the best. So far the battery is not amazing either, several UX things are confusing and I don't have my Google Play games 😭 I guess the upsides are that I got to buy a phone cover with a cat, and I spend less time on the phone?

I'm missing Treatwell, a platform I used in NL that would show you ALL #hairdressers in your area which you could sort by availability, reviews etc. I've been looking for one in #Copenhagen after not being satisfied with previous places I went to (prioritized by distance). But prioritized by reviews and accepting the prices that come with that, 3 new accounts further I only learn that the next feasible time (not in the middle of a work day) is 3 weeks from now 🥹

1. Good progress and interesting results from research projects

2. Several people didn't switch to English when I tried to speak Danish to them

3. I gave myself a haircut? Nothing wild, just getting rid of split ends. I haven't been to a hairdresser in ages because I often don't enjoy the experience. I will need to assess in the coming days whether what I did is any good, or whether I still need professional assistance 😅. But it feels good!
