The RP2350A is feeling a bit more real today as I have cut tape in my hands (from #LCSC). Now I just need to find the board I designed for them back in September πŸ˜† .

In my quest for a Geerling replacement* who should I be following here for #RaspberryPi new product news, Pi projects, etc. either video or text?

Nice to see #JLCPCB going above and beyond sealing a desiccant pack on it's own to keep it safe (cut from a PCB order) 🀣 .

I've been using this to exit #CircuitPython Safe Mode on boards without reset buttons. Is there a quicker way without unplugging it?

import microcontroller

microcontroller.on_next_reset(microcontroller.RunMode.NORMAL)

microcontroller.reset()

I think I've confused my poor #PicoW running #CircuitPython. It thinks I've pressed a reset button the board doesn't have πŸ˜† (I shorted another USB port on the HUB).

You are in safe mode because:

You pressed the reset button during boot.

Press reset to exit safe mode.

In 2024 I fully assembled 16,317 PCB for the hobby/side job (@sales), down from 26,392 in 2023. For my sanity I think I need to do fewer again in 2025 and use PCBA services more.

I decided to design/make some gifts yesterday. Previously I made coasters with maps and this year it's pen pots. I figured I can't be the only one who needs more places to stuff rulers, screwdrivers, brushes, etc. πŸ˜†

πŸ₯³ I made it into the top 5 UK #Tindie sellers by popularity (orders?) and now there are 3/5 of us who ship from Nottinghamshire πŸ™ƒ .

I spoke too soon, if you order PCBA it removes the spacing 🀦 . I've let them know so hopefully it will get fixed.

This wasn't there yesterday but I love the new #JLCPCB panel options. The column/row spacing is going to be especially handy as previously I'd request it in the notes which they didn't always spot first time delaying it with reviews (the micro USB connectors I use overhang the PCB so need spaces to sit flat).

Is it just me or does the #Tindie orders CSV export not included orders with status "Cancelled" (even when selecting only Status "Cancelled" to export) ?

Saturday delivery is one of the benefits of slow #JLCPCB delivery via #RoyalMail (who still haven't done todays collection πŸ™„ ) . No one tell the cursed haters but I've made another one, this time splitting USB2/3 data🀣 .

Four months after designing it my new reel holder has been built πŸ₯³ . Now I just need to wait for the glue to properly dry and get it on the wallπŸ”¨ .
