Oh, and by the way, you know you've been dealing with networking too long when you mistype 'packed' as 'packet'.

It's Lyriel Day for me!

My cohost Christel Tansø and I get to interview Jessica and Oliver Thierjung today on Sonic Onslaught, part of a packed metal show whose larger theme is friendship.

Broadcasters who use TeamTalk. Do not upgrade! Sound events are played through the same place as voice traffic, which is not desirable.

Yesterday, Audient finally dropped version 4.3.20 of the Evo drivers, which means that, after far too long, the work we’ve been testing regarding the accessibility of the Evo4 audio interface is finally public. After far too long a time, I can honestly tell you that this entire range is accessible out of the box.

@jcsteh Hey man, hope you're well...

Interesting Firefox behavior in 126. Things that formerly exposed to the screen reader as "tabs" are now Links, as things that used to show as "menu items" are now "buttons". Nothing in release notes. Intended behavior?

If you aren't using a password manager, use one. I really don't care which one (edit: Except lastpass). Until we're all using passkeys, an individual website is far more likely to be breached than the specialized cloud services that hold your list of individualized website passwords. @bitwarden costs you nothing if you don't need it to act as a TOTP authenticator, and only $10 per year if you do.

Switching from 1Password to Bitwarden. The @freedomscientific podcast where Glenn demonstrates it did the trick for me. It's not better than 1Password, but it is simply different...and cheaper, to the point where for me, self-hosting has no appeal, that's how little they charge for Bitwarden cloud. I'd been thinking of asking @simon to record himself using it, but FS did it first. Thanks!
