Now that the netflix 1080p extension for chrome doesn’t work anymore, I might as well cancel my netflix subscription. I ain’t paying for PAL or NTSC “quality”, and I sure as hell won’t install Windows just so I can watch netflix without getting a headache.

I used to run jira AND confluence in a reasonably small vm (8 gigs RAM, 4 vCPUs), and it was more responsive than this cloud bullshit Atlassian forced on all their customers*. How is it acceptable for a website in 2024 to load for 30+ seconds just to display some fucking text?

• Except the ones who can afford the (iirc) USD 50k+ p.a. for the “data center edition”.
