As a small distraction, here's Das Triadische Ballett (The Triadic Ballet), conceived, designed, and staged by the painter, sculptor, designer, and choreographer Oskar Schlemmer in 1922.

“Schlemmer’s main theme,” says scholar and choreographer Debra McCall, “is always the abstract versus the figurative and his work is all about the conciliation of polarities—what he himself called the Apollonian and Dionysian. [He], like others, felt that mechanization and the abstract were two main themes of the day. But he did not want to reduce the dancers to automatons.”

Alright, I definitely don't need to hear this to support undocumented migrants, but maybe if you get into an argument with someone who does, this is good to know.

The two landmark cases Roe v. Wade and Doe v. Bolton were decided on this day in 1973, protecting the right to have an abortion.

Today, Roe v. Wade has been overturned, and the new administration made it very clear that they will continue their war against reproductive rights.

Hi @glitchdotcom, is your Glitch in Bio project still working?

After making a remix, the preview page keeps refreshing with a WebSocket-related error (I tried both Firefox and Chrome), and after a while the page only shows a 403 error.

Two easy things you can do with your website to make it more fediverse-ready:

Add a rel=me link so you can get a "verified" mark on your profile, see https://stefanbohacek.com/blog/verification-in-the-fediverse/ (this works for a few platforms)

And if you're on Mastodon, you can show a little "author tag" when someone posts your links:
