The same App Shortcuts/App Intents code from iOS “Just Works”™ on watchOS too. And the Bookmarks saved in the app sync via iCloud. Noice. 👍

Each one makes a service call to get arrival times or alerts and for a watch, it’s pretty damn quick!

Hi @ivory — just wondering if anyone else is reporting needing to constantly Reset Cache to get the timeline to get the latest toots. Just on my iPad alone, I had to reset 3 times today. I think I did it twice on my iPhone. :(

Once you get the hang of it, #AppIntents and #AppShortcuts are pretty easy to build.

In this case, it uses your bookmarked transit stops to get either arrival times or service alerts for that transit stops. It’ll display either in the Siri response UI.

I'm working on my multi-platform #SwiftUI app and while at first I thought, "This is great! Just use # if os(macOS) or (iOS) and use the same SwiftUI code files... but now when I focus too much on one platform for a while, I accidentally break things on the other platform. Maybe I forgot to throw in a # if os(_) somewhere.

I'm sorta back to just creating more separate files again. Idk... I guess it is a balancing act.

1. Clear distinction of the titlebar so the user knows exactly where they can drag the window from.

2. Visual affordance handle to resize the sidebar.

3. The perfect use of bottom bars!!!

4. Sidebar is a single color and not distracting with translucent material behind it.

5. Buttons look like actual, press-able, tactile even buttons.

6. Search bar is clearly a search bar with round endcaps.

7. Color icons!!!

Welp… tariffs on Canadian, Mexican, and Chinese imports are coming tomorrow. I really, really hope these countries place tariffs on American imports then. Every country has a right to defend themselves and we cannot strong arm our friends/allies because the “President” likes to have a dick-measuring contest. These trade wars only lead to everyone losing. sigh
