Experimenting with writing typescript to render SVGs directly, rather than using eg Processing for Java

• can use VS Code and preview in a built-in web browser with hot reload

• get type checking, linting, easier git integration

• can use libraries like chroma.ts for choosing and blending colors including named CSS colors: here I mixed "grey", "laserlemon", "mediumturquoise", and "cadetblue". Feels like an easier starting point than picking RGB values manually

Tried rendering my favourite pattern (xor texture) with it. I couldn't understand why x^y was behaving so weirdly... turns out ^ is defined as pow not bitwise-xor in css-doodle 😅

Changing the source code lets me make the pattern I want... but it's limited to 64x64 grids. Looks like a neat project but probably not for me 🥲
