Pro tip: Use the --quiet-pull option of docker compose up when running it in a pipeline. The output is so much cleaner.

I promise I will avoid packages that only hide some curl calls behind an interface in the future. Implementing it just against the more stable (REST) API is probably not much more effort, but then I don't have to worry about that dependency as often.

Since quite early in my software development career I am enjoying writing tests. But for some reason I have the feeling that very often that topic does not get the attention it deserves.

I guess part of the reason is that it is not easy to write good tests, and when certain mistakes are made they can backfire. So in order to avoid that I want to share some tips that can help writing high quality tests.
