The FIDE #chess Open Blitz Chess Championship has just been decided a draw, as Magnus Carlsen and Ian Nepomniachtchi agree to not continue the sudden-death part of the grand final.
I find it weird that FIDE has allowed them to share the title like this.

Desert Bus For Hope (@desertbus) is right now just wrapping out in the last few minutes of their annual fundraiser.
Strangely enough, this bizarre concept of fundraiser just seems to get better each year. Well done to them!

I've just done another play-through of Loop Hero. I really enjoyed it.
It's a roguelite game, where instead of controlling what the main character does, you use cards to create the environment around them. Ultimately the gameplay is about managing probabilities and discovering synergies. It some lore which I think does a decent job of justifying the way game works with a fairly simply but interesting story.
... anyway, I reckon it's pretty good.

I found this article pretty interesting. It's about how/why all .io website might soon be forced to move (which would no doubt be very painful for some of them).

I just watched The Terminator (1984) for the first time. Terminator 2 is one of my favourite movies, but for some reason I'd just never gotten around to watching the first one.
To me, the most striking thing about it is how much it has in common with T2. There are heaps of scenes that are essentially the same. I had no idea at just how similar they are. It's like they basically just made the same movie again.
It was enjoyable seeing each scene as a reference to the other movie - but it does mean that you don't really need to watch both. (And I reckon the second one is better.)

I reckon #CrossCode is a great game that is under appreciated. But maybe it will give the developers a bit of momentum for their newly announced second game: #AlabasterDawn
