When I got fed up watching Trump's inauguration last night, I started watching a documentary about Berlin in 1933. It included this clip. I'm not sure what he's up to here. Awkward gesture? The Nazis in the crowd seem to recognise it, anyway.

So the white numbers on white shirts is to show support for Arsenal's anti knife violence campaign called "No More Red". Fair enough. It's a good job they didn't go with "No More Attacks" as the name for that campaign, all the same.

Sat down to watch #TheBluesBrothers with my 20 year-old daughter this evening. I must have watched that film a dozen times when I was around her age. It's still so good. Brilliant music and an unbelievable cast. I'm happy to report that we both enjoyed it thoroughly.

The increase in the men's pot is €123m while the total women's pot stands at just €5.6m. Surely, diverting enough to even double that would have been a good way to show some "solidarity"?

I'm now at the stage where I'm hoping FF and FG get the numbers to form a government without needing SD or Lab. Otherwise, it's a certainty that one of them will commit political suicide. Both of them ending up in opposition might leave us with the possibility of a left bloc developing.
