Tonight on #PF2E! Per @Mycroft's suggestion, we have a beach episode! Stopping at the resort town of Larnassus Lagoon on their way back home from Meropolis, the PCs find themselves in a bikini bod contest... which turns seriously weird when the judge turns out to be "Blorgorphf the Giant Evil Octopus of Ultimate Evil." To nobody's surprise (except the contest arranger, who is apparently a terrible judge of character) Blorgorphf decides that the contestants all look good enough to eat, and so he attempts to! Fortunately, the PCs beat the snot out of him and he flees, saying that they're all terribly mean.

It was fun delving into some Mandervillian silliness. :)

Got e-mails last night from Reps of where I used to live, that boiled down to "Trump's doing illegal shit; we're working on it."

Good on them for that, but especially for just coming out and SAYING it.

My current Reps haven't said anything, but given their track record, I suspect they feel the same. What they may or may not be DOING about it, I don't know.

While I'm on this retro #Batman goodness kick, how many easter eggs from Batman: The Movie can you find? The "National Mattress Retailers Convention" was my favorite.

(Given that the original Batmobile topped out at something 40 mph because the customizations were heavier than the engine was designed to pull, I find this whole thing very amusing.)

The Ghostlight Crew discover that the sketchy maybe-vampire(?) red mage they've been brushing up against and dancing around is actually a 12,000-year-old demigod and one of the champion's three patrons, engaged in a desperate bid to preserve/rescue the soul of the champion's other two patrons from the clutches of the god of contracts and slavery.

So, that's a thing.

Tonight on #PF2E! The Ghostlight Crew deal with the aftermath of Duke Ethanys's attempted coup, including fighting some kind of light mage who kept calling them "servants of darkness," much to everyone's confusion. Then they met the catfolk information merchant Sugarclaw again, who offered to take them to their missing friend Markos Fenjannos in exchange for the mysterious black statuette they found on an earlier adventure. With no other leads, they took him up on the deal, and he led them to a secret sewer entrance to the Devilliers estate, where Markos had gone in, but never come out. One well-placed illusion to fool the earth elemental guardian underneath, and they're in! ...to a chamber filled with sewer slimes. (Dun dun dunnnn!) Will they escape? Find out next week!
