Shouldn’t we be experimenting with assisted dying before asking MPs to choose in an all or nothing vote?
Maybe a temporary bill to allow a few people wishing to die to do so under strictly controlled conditions - with MP observers?
As it says in the article, it may be 10 years before the next opportunity.
