🧶🧶🧶 Finished 1st sleeve on Mom's sweater, yay! Just one sleeve to go. Then sew in ends, fix a dropped stitch, wet block, mail to New Jersey.

Mom can try it on and I can lengthen or shorten either the body and/or the sleeves. We'll just have to mail it back and forth if necessary. Hopefully I nailed the measurements. It's extra long bc she wants tunic length.

🧶🧶🧶 New WIP!! Just started making the BonBon mitts now for my old roommate here at the nursing home. She wants them in white just like the pattern shows.

Cute pattern, and free! Using gifted yarn, not sure from who. No belly band, but feels like maybe a wool-synthetic blend...?

So happy to have something fresh to work on, while I also knit the final sleeve on Mom's sweater. Onward!

❓️❓️❓️ Question for the #knitting hive mind - I've got some unlabeled yarn, am trying to figure out if it's a natural fiber or synthetic. I know there's a burn test, but don't know what I'm looking for when I set it ablaze. Can anyone 'splain it to me? Your guidance is much appreciated!

The latest FO! A Reyna shawl for my new friend here, Maria, who has brought so much sunshine into my life here at this nursing home. She works in Activities and decorates the crap out of this place! Also helps me with things that usually family does, but I have no one nearby. Thanks so much to @ConsumableJoy for the yarn!

For #WIPWendesday, I present to you one nearly finished sleeve on Mom's sweater. At last, I'm approaching the home stretch on the Crème Anglaise sweater! The markers are for decreases I added, to reduce the balloon size a bit. One more sleeve to go. At last!

stash? Is it by yarn weight, or color, or fiber content, or planned project, or or or?

I'm working on taking it to the next level, but undecided just how to proceed. I am mosty a visual and tactile person. I plan to also inventory it on Ravelry.

❓❓❓ Knitting hive mind...

Pattern has balloon sleeves, but Mom wants less volume there. Design - Crème Anglaise - has slouchy sweatshirt feel. Did folded over collar of 1.5", body ribbing on tunic length torso of 2", both more than called for. Yoke style. Gauge 20 sts = 4".

How often to decrease? Still want to harmonize with other elements. Was thinking every 2" but that doesn't seem like enough. Advice?
