Saw Babygirl, a US movie. A mature woman, CEO of a robotics startup is having a sadomasochist relationship with a young intern, embarrassing and ludicrous. My wife found it mediocre and sick.

saw "Christmas Eve at Miller's point". Assume you are invited to a Xmas party of a large family where you don't know anybody, nothing much happens at the party except people talk and eat. That's the plot. I found the movie watchable but not very interesting. My wife hated it.

saw "Conclave", a thriller about the pope's election. The beauty of the movie is that the topic lends itself to a very theatrical filming. The acting is impeccable, the story is unrealistic but interesting. My wife found it very good.

mystery of Facebook moderation

saw "Grand tour", a surprising and bizarre Portuguese film, taking place in Myanmar, the Philippines, Japan, Vietnam and China, in 1918. Men are cowards, women are smart, humorous and tenacious (I concur). I enjoyed it. My wife was less enthused.

saw "Emilia Perez", excellent and unique musical French film by Jacques Audiard, in Spanish, played by American actors, and shot in France (except for the last scene). The tough story of a narco who changes gender (from he to she) and wants to do good. Audiard is a genius. My wife liked it.

saw "Anora", interesting movie about the love affair of an escort girl and the son of a Russian oligarch, the second part of the movie is much better than the first. Madison is excellent. But I would have given the Palme d'or to "all you imagine as light'. My wife liked it.
