A poetic report from Complicit Chips. An attempt to take on the nebulous world of accelerated software-operated hardware in a moment in which the nano-necropolitics of microelectronics produce another spin on what Miriyam Aouragh has called "cybercide". When divesting from banalized violence seems both undoable and the only responsible thing to do, what do we do, how do we spin towards liberation and healing deeply damaged grounds and peoples? This animation chips away at the mundane complicity orchestrated by an industry that mesmerizes our infrastructural imaginaries, warms our pockets and computes the screen you are looking at.

El aire es un bien común. Pero ¿qué implica tener derecho a un aire limpio? ¿Y tener derecho a respirar? En lugar de un recurso invisible que tiende a la escasez, proponemos pensar el aire como una infraestructura que posibilita distintas formas de vida. El aire produce contaminación, reproducción, desigualdad, redistribución, biodiversidad, extractivismo… Y, como toda infraestructura, está conformado por tecnología, materias vivas e inertes, cuerpos, instituciones, políticas, cultura…
Conversaremos sobre monitorización, control, cuidado y convivencia con la complejidad de las atmósferas que habitamos, entre ellas las del museo. ¿Qué sucede cuando pensamos-respiramos juntes? ¿Hay presencias y corporalidades que quedan excluidas? Imaginaremos infraestructuras aéreas de/para lo común.

We are familiar with techniques like grafting, cutting, layering and sprouting. These are naturocultural linking methods that are always in tension, often pushing the boundaries of what can be named. These are ways of propagating life, fostering shared mutation, cultivating unexpected varieties of interdependent modes of existence, and nurturing non-categorised, non-rigid and dynamic connections.
(...) They introduce us to unexpected forms of bonding by other means. Unexpected forms of kinship, of nurturing, of non-binary parenting when desires align. Propagation of shared, eventually enby life. Co-parenting through the uncertainties of humanness. And that also means embracing and becoming entirely-spontaneous weeds, like the cugula that grows in the ditches of patriarchal and productivity-focused enclosures.
A Breeding Ground for Uncertainties serves as the most compelling figuration I can think of for navigating patriarchal-colonial contemporaneity. It captures the emphasis of this norm in tension with the thick web of inter-dependencies that surround it, teeming with contradictions and deeply entrenched injustices.

En el contexto de la exposición Un desorden distinto, los investigadores Diego Falconí Trávez y Elena Castro Córdoba, así como la performer Feña Celedón, realizarán una serie de conferencias desde las que reflexionar sobre cuestiones relativas a las temporalidades sexodisidentes, la fantasmagoría y la necropolítica vinculada al recinto donde se encuentra la propia Capella o la práctica del drag como estrategia para desmontar el género.

In these times of unprecedented genocidal violence and destruction, @titipi decided to translate and recirculate materials from "Palestine Online. Transnationalism, the Internet and the Construction of Identity".
In 2008, Miriyam Aouragh published her research on how diaspora and exile communities used the internet as a medium for the formation of Palestinian national and transnational identity.
She chased material evidence and concrete case studies of the emergence, implementation and popularisation of internet connectivity as a technosocial arrangement. In her own words: "diasporic communication is often expressed as collective interaction vis-à-vis national identity, and community often reflects the merging of the online and offline. Social practices are virtually mediated as well as actually experienced. Communities include some form of virtuality and online sociability" (Bloomsbury Publishing, 2011).
This timeline opens up a longer process as part of TITiPI's activist para-academic research praxis. We aim to inhabit the timeline by means of adding to it's genealogical complexity. Revisiting Palestine Online honours the Palestinian's people resistance within, across and despite the infrastructures of empire.
