I am sad, folks. I don't know what else to say that hasn't already been expressed so far with the presidential election results. But I will say that in my season of sadness and eating my feelings at a local taco chain, my daughter (who voted in her first election) called me and told me she was feeling the same but looked at the silver lining of things. She also said the results won't discourage her from voting in the next cycle but increased her resolve. I'm so proud of her.

I am a CIS, straight white male & this presidential election has got me anxious because I worry about the people that are most impacted by the results, especially those I care for & love. Seeing "projections" showing Trump winning & how "close" this race is has caused me to delete the Mastodon app on my phone & block news sources for the next several days.

Love you all, please take care of yourselves, & check in on loved ones.

In honor of James Earl Jones' passing, I watched "The Hunt for Red October" for the umpteenth time. This movie will always be a guilty pleasure of mine and I will always remember Jones as THE Admiral Greer, in my book.
