"Google has just revealed a new AI tool called Deep Research that lets you call upon its Gemini bot to scour the web for you and write a detailed report based on its findings."

A lot of these new AI tools are banking on the assumption that the web isn't going to be filled with AI-generated slop in the future. Google already struggles to show me useful results when I search... how is the AI going to do better?
