Today I dipped my toe into static site generation with @eleventy and it was a breeze!
I didn’t know this #WebDevelopment stuff could actually be fun.
I will now happily trade the complexities of #Wordpress plus visual site builders plus theme customization against the complexities of #SSG with vanilla #HTML / #CSS and (almost) no #JavaScript. If think, I‘ll redo all my sites with it.
Hint: ChatGPT is also really good at teaching #Eleventy and CSS.

Is @eleventy a good fit for a super simple website? The website is just a header, a navbar with a fixed set of 6 menu items and a content area. No #JavaScript, no backend, all handwritten vanilla #CSS and #HTML?
Also: I don’t know much about JavaScript. Without ChatGPT I would be lost.

@xunit @bradwilson Is there a way to assert the completion of a Task<T>
with a timeout and then when the timeout is not hit assert on the result? Similar how it can be done in #FluentAssertions
