Hypothesis: doing business with the current US government/administration still is taking a side.

Your company is not being "neutral" and "separating your own ethics from that of your customers" nor is "tech is apolitical" a get-out-of-jail-free card.

Not when you know what your customer is using your products and services for.

Not perfectly sure what follows from that for individual employees.

Haben die mal auf den demografischen Wandel und die Erfordernisse ihrer achsoheiligen Wirtschaft, Renten etc geschaut?

Eine offene und integrative Migrationspolitik ist nicht nur und zuallererst(!) menschlich geboten, sondern auch profitkapitalistisch und im "nationalen Interesse".

Die gierigsten Vorschläge zur deutschen Wirtschaftspolitik kommen daher gerade von checks notes links.

Wir bräuchten Mindestwerte.

Most of us are used to eventually being able to grasp and understand something.

It's really not good for my mental health when I'm sufficiently smarter (in a particular dimension and instance, I'm not claiming superiority across the board) to see an "obvious" problem (such as a logical inconsistency somewhere) that others don't; but insufficiently so to explain it in simple/clear enough terms to them.

I'd love a brain booster button for those moments. Or a contingent of "just trust me" cards.

When people ask me about why I wear a mask/respirator "still", I've found much better acceptance when I say that I have a friend with an auto-immune disease that I'm concerned about than when I say that I'm still concerned about #sarscov2 #covid19.

Suddenly dismissal & mockery turns into concern and support. 🤷

Based on the learnings from #DeepSeek, I argue that all developer laptops and work stations are to be globally sanctioned. They may only be given access to 10 year old kit.

Presentations may be given to customers only on systems at least 5 years old.

This should be part of ESG, SRI, and all B Corps certifications.

Dem KI Schrott werde ich sicher nicht zustimmen, meine medizinische Versorgung hat sich mit der Existenz dieser Plattform aber massiv verbessert.

Fordert nicht deren Abschaffung oder die Eliminierung des Werts, sondern die Reparatur und Regulierung.

Ersatzlos streichen ist keine konstruktive Forderung.

Das wäre für mich viel schlimmer als ein leaken aller meiner Daten dort.
