another #hamchallenge: I did not found anything about my call sign beside my own presences on the internet until @df5go pointed in their post to archive.org/details/dlarc. There is a collection of old call books and it is searchable in full text! So I found my call in a book from 1995. The previous owner was from Munich. The search engine revealed a person under the same name and adress in a (maybe spam) business directory. Tried to call OP, but the phone number given was not valid. (1/2)

Today I did my very first SOTA activation. Me and my husband staying on vacation in Bayrischer Wald for a week and hiked to the snowy summit of Osser (DL-BM/028) today. I took my HT to the summit, thought it might be tough to make contacts on 2m FM because nobody will listen, but it went quiet well on 145.5. Made 4 contacts one even to Regensburg (90km bee line)! Will absolutely do it again. #sota #amateurradio #draussenfunker

Yesterday I was able to listen to OH2B amd CS3B with my improvised antenna (just a random wire, loosely stretched across the backyard in the middle of Berlin). I had a very weak signal and only read at 100W. 14100kHz, 10.25Z. I was not able to catch the signal on the other bands, but I consider the callenge solved @hamchallenge HC02S #hamchallenge #amateurradio #hamradio

Today I stretched a wire across the yard and listened to see if I could receive the NCDXF IARU beacons. With this improvised antenna in the middle of Berlin I had a noise level of S7 on 20m, unfortunately I could not receive the beacons. In the last few days I have listened a few times via WebSDR. As I only heard OH and 4X on the Berlin KiwiSDRs, I put this down to the propagation conditions. I will continue to observe this...

Am Mittwoch habe ich bei meiner POTA Aktivität auf einer Frequenz im 20m Band ein wiederholtes Pferde-Wiehern gehört. Es störte eine andere Station, die dort gerade aktiv war. Zunächst habe ich gedacht, der OP wäre auf einem Perdehof, aber es war dasselbe Geräusch im Loop. Der OP und die anderen Teilnehmenden schienen das Geräsch zu ignorieren.
