I don't believe in electoral democracy. Not in the US and not in Australia. It's a veneer that's being dispensed with. So, I don't have any evidence for this, but I think Dutton is going to be the next PM somehow. I don't know how exactly though. However, Labor will hand him power. Once Trump gets fully going in the US and gives Israel a full green light, Labor will not be able to spin it any more. They won't want to because it will make them look bad. They'll prefer to just lose - like Democrats. Labor will hand Peter Dutton the keys to the Lodge.

The opening scene makes is certainly appear that the show got a budget boost. Very fancy action scene that looks like a Fatboy Slim video.

As usual, you're left not knowing what's really true or who to trust. A solid opening.

OK, a ceasefire is always good, so no complaints. But it's extremely clear to me that Israel is going along with this to make Trump look good initially and to get the hostages back. Then they will simply break the ceasefire with zero repercussions like they've always done. People understand this right?

Has anyone ever managed to get XMPP working on both Android and Linux with OMEMO encryption? I'm using Blabber.im on mobile and Kaidan on Linux and the encryption simply does not work even though they both claim to be OMEMO-capable. The message gets through but Blabber complains that it's not encrypted. I can't turn it on because Kaidan complains that my contact doesn't use OMEMO (they do). Is this some weird versioning problem?
