Had a conversation today with a fellow Gen-X, lovely, articulate, intelligent, kind and generous who said that she wasn't interested in visiting the US because "they're all a bit weird over there".

So I chimed in referencing MAGA cult and Nazi salutes but she was unaware of those.

"It's the drones and the nanobots in the fog. That's weird, why would you do that? I'd like to stay away from weird stuff like that".

I smiled, changed the subject and moved on.
