Back to another long term project:

My big roman fantasy hexcrawl campaign. I need to get in touch with it again, so i start with illustrations for my rule booklet. I'll keep the illustrations printer friendly to encourage my players printing it at home.

The sling-shot pose was out of my skill level, it looks a bit akward :D Just stopped at the point i got frustrated with it.

After teaching myself NMM for a long time. This is what i ended up doing with TMMs. It has downsides, not looking super nice from every angle, but i like the effect.

Placing the sweet spot where it works from most probable viewpoints, does magic here.

The idea was, showing some spooky "mashine spirit"... But i couldn't make it look like a low resolution retro screen as planned. Idk, maybe i repaint it, maybe not.

Good enough for the table.

Off center was ok the first time i painted it. It never catched my eye with a "this looks wrong"

Now i'am going to try something more interesting with the flag.

That escalated quickly... Wednesday: My wife bought a painting panel for our child... It inspired me to look for graphic tablets... Friday: found a new Wacom CTL-4100K second Hand for 30 bucks "ok, lets try this"... " Awesome!"... Saturday: "I'am going to buy the 'pro' version." Sunday: found a almost unused second hand Wacom PTH-660 for one third of the price... Got it today... Now i'am totally in love with this device.

Second one. They are messing up with my perfectionism... However, i can say something like "all cyborg, burning ghost entities are beautiful in their own way" to calm down myself. Now back to drilling, sawing and turning screws :D

Made my life a little bit easy and painted black without tape with a brush on orange ... An Airbrush could have saved me at least 1 hour getting this orange layer nice :D i know what happened with the tape cutting stuff - i am confident the left side will get better. At his chin i had a small momemt of control loss, it's ok. Had something unexpected relaxing to know each brush movement will be irreversible :)

My last repost from my first account... An this Medusa on shield thing gets boring i know but i wanted to do one too :D Finished it around 50 days ago. It stood on my shelf untouched for months, because i got sick of trying this non metallic metal effect (painting metal with just matt colours, which is complicated in 3D)... Now i'am happy with it.

This is my first self sculpted miniature "Cannon Barrel Bob" Those patches got me to the edge of what i'am abled to paint :) Total height 8,5cm. Its a sculpt of my old #Shadowrun char. Unfortunately he fell on the floor that's why he has cracks :/ Who recognises every patch? They all have a reference :) More Pictures in post 2. (1/2)
