Is there any way to have better video-call experiences on the Mac, for Google Meet and alike?

I really want to give Firefox a fair chance, but they do all kinds of funky stuff around hijacking text editing behaviour, and using custom dropdowns instead of using the system UI elements.

I love how Dropbox had multiple excellent apps like Mailbox, and Carousel, and just decided to give up instead.

I don't remember the last time seeing anyone use it.

One clear indicator of the downfall was them launching https://dropbox.design instead of fixing their app.

When  introduced the .HEIC format, they should have upgraded the macOS file-picker to auto-convert to JPG when uploading images to websites and other apps

• Gmail → @fastmail

• Google Search → @perplexity_ai

• YouTube Premium → @WatchNebula

• Google Photos → Apple Photos

• Google Domains → @Cloudflare

• Google Chrome → @arcinternet

• Google Drive → Only for Docs

• Google Calendar → @fastmail

• Google Analytics → @PlausibleHQ

• Google FI → Being in the EU & using eSims

Not only Google Search has gotten worse. Google Image Search has slowly become unusable over the last ~5 years.

Also, successfully switched to Fastmail 2 years ago, and never looked back.
