What's your sliding door parallel not-alive-universe? I have two: one where I disconnected a 25000 volt live line test instrument from earth while it was still in-circuit and we were testing it live, not dead (50/50 chance); and the other where a friend wasn't there to pull drunken-me out of the sea by my shirt collar (I don't swim good even when sober)
