Unsurprisingly, the reality of the situation is more complex. But it's hard not to see this as gentailers making hay at the expense of everyone else. You could argue that Onslow may have helped here, but it was a solution that was too far off anyway. In the short term, why not have the Government invest in energy storage in general, as a means to regulate? I know that the current crowd isn't keen, but are other parties talking about this as an avenue?
