Die CDU möchte etwas für die Sicherheit im Land tun. Ja, Messerangriffe gibt es zu viele, aber wer wirklich etwas für die Sicherheit machen möchte, sollte im Straßenverkehr anfangen. Ich weiß nicht, wieviele Unfälle ich dieses Jahr gesehen habe. Ein Freund im Koma, die Blutlache einer toten Radfahrerin zwei Straßen weiter. Mehrere Beinaheunfälle beim Überqueren einer grünen Ampel oder eines Zebrastreifens im letzten halben Jahr. Keine Gefahr ist so real wie die im Straßenverkehr.

Das Problem sind ja nicht (oder nicht nur) die psychopathischen Milliadäre. Das Problem sind auch diejenigen, welche den Milliadären ihre Macht geben. Die unangenehme Wahrheit ist doch, das wir alle Musk, Zuckerberg, Bezos usw durch unser Konsumverhalten unterstützt haben. Und wer weiterhin #facebook, #instagram, #whatsapp, #X, #Amazon, #Tesla und wie sie alle heißen nutzt, sollte sich fragen, ob ihm die Konsequenzen wirklich gefallen.

Wer auch in die Falle getappt ist, dass sein Paket plötzlich in einer DHL Packstation gelandet ist, die sich nur mit App öffnen lässt:

Für Sportvereine ist es Standard, ihre Inhalte über Facebookseiten zu verbreiten. Hierfür wäre Mastodon eigentlich ein perfekter Ersatz! Notwendig wäre dafür jedoch ein klares und übersichtliches Design für Besucher, die nicht eingeloggt sind. Dieses Anliegen wurde unter dem folgenden Link auf github thematisiert und ich würde ihm gerne mehr Reichweite verleihen, um die Verbreitung von Mastodon zu beschleunigen. Was denkt ihr dazu?

Eine Umfrage an WhatsApp Anwender:
WhatsApp wird dafür geschätzt, dass es praktisch und kostenlos ist. Der Messenger Signal gibt seine Kosten mit 50 Millionen Dollar im Jahr an. WhatsApp hat mit 2,3 Milliarden Anwendern 57 mal so viele wie Signal (40 Millionen). Skaliert man die Betriebskosten, entstehen bei WhatsApp Kosten in der Größenordnung von 2,8 Milliarden Dollar im Jahr.
Jetzt die Frage. Wenn du die Kosten nicht bezahlst, wer bezahlt sie? Ich möchte bewusst keine Antworten vorgeben sondern würde mich freuen, wenn ihr Rückmeldungen als Kommentar schreibt.

Just found out that restarting the flatpak client over and over again sometimes makes it working 🤔

After updating the nextcloud sync client, it stopped working for me under Linux. I use the flatpak version. It starts but it does not show my sync folders. Also tried the appimage but this also did not start. Anyone else with this problem? I am using Linux Mint.

Als Kind habe ich mit Mechanikbaukästen Getriebe gebaut, mit Optikbaukästen Ferngläser und mit Elektrobaukästen Schaltkreise. Das würde ich meinen Kindern auch gerne ermöglichen, aber in der Menge an Schrott, der heute für Kinder angeboten wird, ist es schwer, etwas vernünftiges zu finden.
