Liebes Fedi,

gibt es eigentlich eine nahe Alternative zu Graphpad Prism welche neben Windows vielleicht auch auf Linux läuft?

R fällt aufgrund der Komplexität für die Zielgruppe leider raus.

Jemand Erfahrung mit LabPlot oder JASP gemacht und kann das vielleicht einschätzen?

argh, ich rante jetzt einfach weiter weils raus muss.

Wenn man auf Github dann Fehler und Bugs meldet hab ich es in letzter Zeit vermehrt beobachtet das die Issues geschlossen werden und nicht verstanden wird warum der Beitrag wichtig ist.

Ansteuerung für Schreinerei Maschinen oder CAD Software.

Selbes Problem wie bei den Messgeräten. Zusätzlich das manche Geräte nur mit der Software sprechen in einer bestimmten Version. Weil der Hersteller ab einer bestimmten Version Dir eine neue Maschine verkaufen möchte.

Messsoftware für Laborgeräte gibt es ausschließlich für Windows. Selten ist was für Mac oder Linux dabei. Da kann man nicht einfach umsatteln.

Die läuft dann auch nicht mal eben mit Wine. Das kann am Dongle liegen, an der Hardware, an DLLs für die Ansteuerung.

Auf Lemmy kann man beobachten wie bei Threads, in denen es um Windows geht, massiv gedrängt wird auf Linux zu wechseln. Auf die Unfeine Art.

Es gibt Programme die unverzichtbar für manche sind und die es einfach nicht für Linux gibt oder darauf laufen.

Da bringt es nichts von Umgewöhnungsprobleme zu faseln.
