I [THOUGHT I] learned today that Scrivener, which I used in a free trial long ago, is now a Microsoft product.

Wondering if anyone knows of a writing application that's like Scrivener but not Microsoft?

UPDATE: I might have jumped to conclusions here. It is not a Microsoft product.

Made it to Friday in the first week of classes! And now i'm with my writing partner trying to do some of my own writing and totally forgetting where to start and how to do it.

one of the cats pooped in the litter box & I am basically coming to terms with the prospect that I've been incapacitated by the smell. We usually scoop it at 11pm, after the final feeding of the day, but I think I might have to do it now because it's giving me a stress headache. 🐈‍⬛ 💩

i keep watching the trailer and other little videos about the animated film Flow, which seems extremely my jam. And yet, EVERY TIME i watch something about it, I get so emotionally overwhelmed I can't bear the thought of watching it! I feel like if I do I won't be able to handle it and will just cry.

I have accomplished some of the big teaching tasks I had to work on today (submitting midsemester advisories, getting the online gradebook wrangled, etc.) and just got a chicken and potatoes in the oven to roast.

But, I missed a meeting that I'd put on my calendar but thought was a mistake...and I've only commented on one paper (goal was 4 for today, lol). And I have a kind of shitty cold (so far covid negative). 😩

I gotta do at least 1 more paper before dinner, maybe 1 after. hold me to it
