I have a minor UI annoyance in #Ubuntu 24.04.1 LTS. At first I thought it was just HexChat being old and weird, but after removing HexChat from the Dock, Cider took its place and started doing the same: No matter which application is in the foreground, the fifth item on the dock is highlighted as if I had my mouse over it. If I actually run my mouse over the icons in the dock, it goes away for a while, but as soon as I alt-tab to something new, it's highlighted again. Does anyone know of a fix for this?

Really pleased with my Chuwi Hi10 Max as a Linux tablet. The initial install was surprisingly iffy, but now that it's up and running, it's just great. The keyboard works as expected, on-screen keyboard works, touch-sensitive pen works (really nice in Krita and Xournal++). Battery life is good. The only thing that seems out of reach is getting the cameras working, but I wasn't planning on using those in the first place. If I can get them working, I will, of course. For science. It's incredible how much value you're getting from a system like this.
