So I find it hard to achieve some times. I lack the energy. So sometimes I work really hard and I achieve in life. But when I do and it subsequently goes wrong its can be soul destroying. That has just happened. I’ve had to organise and plan and make phone calls (which i hate) and I got to my goal. Then 30 minutes later I have a problem. Have to make another call and now I have to take time off on Monday to deal with the issue. Major disappointment really affects me. I am now completely out of spoons and just want to hide!

Well obviously Alice, my elderly Land Rover, decided I got through the MOT too easily. Went to drive to the Huddersfield Narrow Canal today to meet friends and the wipers packed in. New motor and mechanism is on order and will hopefully turn up Tuesday so i can fit it. Luckily that car is mostly held together with allen bolts. The hardest part has been getting the little plastic covers that hide the bolts on the wipers out of the wipers.

Kamala Harris is right wing in all normal senses of the word. She’s just a lot more left than fascist Trump and GOP. But to Europe she’s more like our right wing politicians. That the extreme right refers to her as a dangerous lefty is hilarious. However if I was voting I would vote for her only because the alternative is way worse!

So Labour and the fuel allowance for Pensioners. It is common for labour to put through a disliked policy close to being elected in the hope that we will have forgotten five years down the line. The first thing Labour did in the 90s was introduce tuition fees for universities, some the Major Government decided would make them unelectable.

Another “We tried to deliver but you were out” delivery where it is actually “We were running late and wanted to go home so didn’t even try”. I sit in my home office that looks over the front of the house where I can see any delivery vans arriving! No brown and gold UPS van.

I’ll be hanging on to my iPhone 12 mini for another year. PS i do not want a huge phone (no please don’t tell me about some tiny Android phone, I don’t want an Android. Tried it twice. Hated it each time. I’m very much in the Apple ecosystem).
