Ok, so I wrote my second #neovim plugin today! It is very rough around the edges still, but it will allow you to browse and edit knot DNS records in a buffer using telescope: https://code.smolnet.org/micke/knot.nvim

Since no-one is maintaining #LunarVim [0] anymore, I am once again back on a hand rolled, artisinal, #neovim config. Rewrote it from scratch today and it tuned out even better than my old setup I think. Very simple structure with settings and keybindings (using which-key) directly in init.lua, one file for plugins and a separate file for lazy setup. Zero-lsp make all the lsp stuff very painless.

When I went vegan about ten years ago, vegan options for sausages, mince, cheese, steak, milk and so on was always more expensive than the most expensive animal based counterparts.

After the recent inflation/price hikes I can now see that the plant based/vegan options are now comparable to the cheapest animal based options in price across the board.

It is not strange, the vegan options were always cheaper to produce, but it is great to see.

One less excuse to harm animals is a good thing.

Is rewriting 'sudo' in rust really a good idea? 🤔

The current incarnation of the sudo project was started in 1986, and as such has had almost forty years to iron out bugs. Granted, 1/3 of those were memory related, but that still leaves 2/3 for a new implementation to rediscover.

In Sweden the collective bargening agreement often includes provisionings for one hour per week of self care (friskvårdstimme). I used that hour today for a walk in the forrest. It made both the afternoon AND dinner very enjoyable.
