OK Braintrust, I need your help.
I have a Launch keyboard connected to my Thelio desktop shared with my Serval laptop using Synergy. Typing speed on the Serval is just fine - it keeps up with me perfectly.
But when I type on my primary machine (the desktop) the keys lag behind. Like a lot.
"The quick brown fox jumped over the lazy dog." -> the text editor is only to "j" when I stop typing.
Any thoughts on diagnosing/fixing the problem?

Once upon a time, the tax deductions for investing in a 529 savings plan incentivized planning for college. Then Ted Cruz pushed forward changes in how they could be used.
Now? No federal deduction. And my state deduction maxes out at $360.
The remaining incentive? I want my kids to have a quality education. But no tax benefits makes it harder than putting money elsewhere.

I have memories of doing timed tests of multiplication tables in first grade. However, the math my second grader is being taught ... is nowhere near that rigorous.
Seriously? Subtracting 1 and 0 is as far as they've gotten so far? Multiplication will allegedly come later this spring...

My daughter has gotten in trouble and taking away her new headbands was the punishment. She hadn't told that to Nana, just that "I lost them."

'Lost' has two different meanings here. And neither party realized the misunderstanding until I stopped them both to explain it. Plain language is anything but unambiguous.
