@pixelfed possibly a dumb question, but if I wanted my Pixelfed images to appear for people who follow me on this account, is it possible seamlessly (would prefer to curate the better pics on Pixelfed and not duplicate)

Watching Florida vote for the party (and President) of climate change denial, mostly likely to hasten their doom, is a depressing sign of how ill-informed and polarized Americans are. Unless both the Presidency and House are firmly Democrat (no matter their flaws) the US (and by extension a lot of the world) is in for a rough time.

Why do we allow politicians to lie without consequence? If they were CEOs of a Corporation the law would penalise them. If someone lied on their CV or in an interview they'd be fired. These people claim to represent us but clearly are motivated by self interest, and we don't hold them to account. What does it say about a country when it happily votes for liars?
