it's an intro!

hello world, or whatever the programmers say. the hell's a gemlog?

i think i've always wanted a blog in some capacity or another, but worried about my habit of messing around with something for fun and then promptly moving onto a different project. maybe i'd run out of things to write about and feel bad when it goes ignored. but i like the small-ness of gemini, and i'm stuck inside anyways. turns out, the subject of this is going to be the aforementioned habit of sample-plattering every hobby i ever hear of! "serial jack-of-all-tradesing".

so nothing here's going to be of great importance, i think. but hopefully it'll be interesting. i'll chronicle my spirratic learning experiences in funky food and niche art techiques and language learning and whatever else i stumble across in some corner of the internet. and i hope to get to know some of y'all too :)

see you when i'm deciding to grow green onions at an extremely inconvenient time or something.

oh, and the name

a wise old man once said my username to me in a period of confusion, but i think it'll catch on. perhaps in the forensics community? ah, forensics humour.
